AML/KYC Expert

We are seeking an experienced AML/KYC Expert with strong expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting customer risk assessments, investigating suspicious activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting financial crime prevention initiatives within the banking or financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform KYC onboarding, periodic reviews, and remediation activities for individual and corporate clients.
• Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
• Analyze customer profiles, ownership structures, source of funds, and business activities.
• Review and investigate AML alerts, sanctions alerts, and suspicious transactions.
• Conduct adverse media screening and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) reviews.
• Identify suspicious activities and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when required.
• Evaluate customer risk ratings and ensure proper documentation of risk assessments.
• Review and validate beneficial ownership information and complex corporate structures.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, OFAC, FATF, FinCEN, and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Business teams to resolve AML/KYC issues.
• Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, and compliance testing activities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation according to regulatory standards.
• Participate in AML policy development, process improvements, and control enhancements.
