Join Our Team of Pediatric Specialists, practice in a brand new hospital

We re seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Neurologist to join our growing team of physicians and provide exceptional care in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

What You ll Do

• Provide high-quality care in the clinic and hospital while covering proportionate call
• Collaborate with pediatric neurologists

• Proportionate call with 24/7 coverage for inpatients by Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Critical Care and Neonatologists.
• Practice in a brand-new Women s and Children s hospital opening in 2027.
• Established telemedicine and virtual care opportunities to provide flexibility in care delivery.
• Enjoy multidisciplinary collaboration with pediatric specialists in the specialties of cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, infectious disease, pulmonology, nephrology, and orthopedics.
• Avera McKennan has a combined 110 beds devoted to the care of infants, children and adolescents, in our state of the art NICU- Level IIIb, Pediatric and PICU and behavioral health hospital.
• Academic appointments available through the USD School of Medicine. Teaching opportunities with medical students and family medicine residents.
• Research opportunities supported by a clinical research team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO, licensed (or eligible) in South Dakota
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Neurology
• South Dakota Federal and State DEA certification
